School Based Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist for a 36-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. Responsible for assessing student motor, sensory, and cognitive skills, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with school staff to support participation and progress. Earn up to $55/hr based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and cognitive skills to develop individualized therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to support students' participation in educational activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided in compliance with district policies.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment that promotes student growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license and relevant degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensed Occupational Therapist credential.
• Minimum one year of experience in school-based occupational therapy.
• Resume, active license, ability to work weekdays, and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and passion for student success.
• Background checks required.
