MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Maintenance TechnicianA Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing building systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role performs preventative maintenance, responds to work orders, and supports electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and safety systems, including alarms and ventilation. The ideal candidate helps coordinate with production, maintains equipment performance standards, and keeps the maintenance shop clean and organized while ensuring all work meets health and safety requirements.Salary range (insert amount here). They are skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and control systems and respond quickly to maintenance needs to minimize downtime and support production goals. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Ideal candidates will have:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Maintenance TechnicianAbility to troubleshoot VFD and PLC systemsBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other mechanical systemsKnowledge of general maintenance processes, methods, tools, and equipment of the tradeWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devicesAbility to read a tape measure and other precision measuring toolsDetailed knowledge of internal combustion engines and automotive components, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsStrong mathematical aptitudeWorking conditions/physical requirements:Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
