Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner in Neonatology

Join the dedicated team at a prominent health facility in Lansing, Michigan, seeking a knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neonatology. This state-of-the-art hospital features a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing critical care to vulnerable patients. You will be stepping into a vital role during a time of transition, ensuring the highest quality of care for neonates.

• Provide comprehensive care for neonates in the Inpatient Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation.
• Administer procedures including PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration, and chest tube placement.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Manage an average caseload of patients per day.
• Utilize electronic documentation through the Epic system.
• Participate in weekend shifts as required.

• Board certification from ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, or equivalent.
• Active Michigan state license; no new license candidates will be accepted.
• Current NRP certification (Advanced Provider or Instructor).
• Demonstrated experience in Neonatology; new graduates are not acceptable.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care.

• Must hold an active Michigan state license upon name clearance.
• Board certification is required.
• Current NRP certification is mandatory.
