Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assembler workers for a manufacturing / metal fabrication company. In this role, you’ll support production by assembling and welding metal components while following quality and safety standards. If you enjoy hands-on work, using tools and equipment, and working as part of a team in a manufacturing environment, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!

Perform all company values and daily interactions with coworkers and customers

Measure and set up equipment, prepare surfaces, and position parts for welding

Use hand tools and shop equipment such as grinders, portable spot welders, hammers, screwdrivers, clamps, fixtures, and jigs

Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and detailed work procedures

Assemble and weld parts to meet quality and production standards

Follow all safety policies, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area

Ability to lift and manipulate parts up to 50 lbs (team lift if needed)

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions (reaching, bending, twisting)

Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols

Prior welding or metal fabrication experience preferred

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to follow safety instructions and wear required protective equipment
