Required Certifications and Licenses Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement BLS certification through American Heart Association Graduate from an accredited NLN School of Nursing Scheduling Requirements Day Shift 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Every other weekend required. Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs Per Diem Essential Functions The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. The Nurse implements the Hospital's Mission and goals through established policies, procedures, and performance improvement activities. This includes the organization and administration of individualized, age‑specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, assessing each patient’s needs and determining age‑specific treatment modalities.
