Responsibilities

If you join our team as a technician, your main responsibilities will include: Applying dry polish to the exterior of the aircraft to prevent corrosion. Polishing and buffing the aircraft to leave a clean and finished shine. Using lift equipment to reach higher sections of the aircraft's fuselage and tail. This opportunity is especially ideal for college students, or as a second job. All positions start at $22.51 per hour. Starting pay will be higher if you have a current SFO AOA/SIDA badge.

Qualifications

No previous experience necessary, we train you. No driver's license required but recommended. Government sponsored photo ID a minimum. Must prioritize safety to the top of your workplace practices. Must be able to obtain a United Airlines Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) badge. Must pass a ten-year background check and pass a computer-based training program to obtain an airport security ID badge (AOA/SIDA). Must be able to lift, stand, bend, twist, push and pull objects frequently. Must be a team player, reliable, conscientious and detail oriented. Must be able to work in a range of environmental conditions, including rain, cold, strong sunlight and decreased visibility. Ideal applicants are open to learning on the job, thrive in a team oriented environment and are responsible, and hope to advance in pay and position (management). Must be on time, every time, every workday. Insurance benefits are provided starting on the first day of employment. Paid time off (PTO/Sick) accrual. Shifts available: All 2 shifts available (may work more than one shift). Dayshift & Swingshift.
