Technical Manager

We are seeking a Game Room Technician (internally known as Technical Manager). The role focuses on steering the technology behind the Chuck E. Cheese experience, maintaining video and skill games, kitchen equipment, register systems, and ticket mechanisms. Compensation Hourly: $21.00 – $25.00 Signing bonus: $3,000 Commission Exempt: $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold, $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold. Paid bi‑weekly. Non‑Exempt: $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership sold, $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass sold. Paid bi‑weekly. Responsibilities Oversee and maintain video and skill games, kitchen equipment, register systems, and ticket mechanisms. Manage electrical and mechanical aspects of the game room; perform daily preventive maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective electronic components, boards, and computers. Operate and maintain stage‑show equipment, including compressor operation, lighting, sound, pneumatics, valves, cylinders, boards, and stage‑show cosmetics. Maintain inventory of electronic equipment, mechanical parts, and tools. Maintain a budget. Maintain a safety‑focused attitude at all times. Skills Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot down to the component board level. Planning, organization, and multitasking skills. Attention to detail. Time management and a sense of urgency. Military experience or technical degree, or prior electrical or mechanical training (preferred). Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age. Work up to 45 hours per week. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential Job Functions and Work Environment Lift or carry objects weighing 0–50 pounds during scheduled shift. Stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during shift. Handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members. Work in an environment with flashing lights, moving parts, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
