Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid RN license in the state required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with ventilator management preferred
• COVID vaccination and boosters preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor patients in the Telemetry unit with close attention to cardiac rhythms and clinical changes
• Employ the nursing process for comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Deliver direct, evidence-based patient care within recognized nursing standards and the scope of practice
• Accurately document changes in patient condition and communicate effectively with the broader healthcare team, including physicians
• Guide and instruct patient families and mentor/support nursing colleagues to foster a safe and productive care environment
• Respond rapidly and appropriately to acute changes in patient status and support prompt, effective treatment interventions
