Senior Software Engineer

This position requires the candidate to be available to work in person in our Atlanta office. We come in 3 days per week, but support flexibility as needed.

What we are looking for?
Technical Leadership and Architecture:

• Lead architectural decisions and technical direction across the full technology stack
• Design and implement scalable end-to-end solutions
• Establish and maintain coding standards and best practices for both frontend and backend
• Architect database schemas and API designs
• Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews
• Drive continuous improvement in our development processes
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements

Development and Implementation:

• Build complex features across the entire stack
• Implement robust frontend state management solutions
• Design and optimize REST APIs and database queries
• Develop scalable backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Implement security best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack

Team and Process Leadership:

• Guide sprint planning and technical discussions
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Help establish and maintain development processes
• Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies

Requirements:

What we expect you to have:

• Deep expertise in full-stack development and architecture
• Expert-level knowledge of React and React Native
• Strong proficiency with C# and .NET Core
• Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Extensive experience with SQL and database design
• Experience with cloud services (preferably Azure)
• Strong understanding of API design and REST principles
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
• Proven track record of leading complex feature implementations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bonus points and street cred for the following:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Advanced SQL query optimization and database design
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Cross-platform mobile development experience
• Cloud architecture experience (preferably Azure)
• DevOps and infrastructure as code experience
• Experience with message queuing systems
• System design and scalability planning
• Test-driven development expertise
• Performance profiling and optimization experience
• Contributions to open-source projects
