Shaner Hotels offers a Hospitality position at Playa Largo Resort & Spa in the Florida Keys—a five‑star resort featuring 175 luxury rooms, private bungalows, a beach house, a banquet ballroom, a marina, spa, courts, and four restaurants & bars. Responsibilities Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food & Beverage Department. Maintain food and beverage safety and quality according to hotel, Shaner, and franchise specifications. Maintain communication with the General Manager, other Department Managers, Supervisors, and staff. Other duties as assigned. Take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Collect payments and assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment. Qualifications Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public. Minimum age of 21 to serve alcoholic beverages. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co‑workers. High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred. ServSafe and/or food safety training. Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS). Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
