Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI imaging and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images across various body areas, including advanced study areas
• Interview and educate patients on MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact and professionalism
• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications and proper aseptic injection technique
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists as needed
• Troubleshoot scanner, coil, PACS, and peripheral equipment to minimize downtime and maintain continuity of patient care
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to new technologists and patient coordinators as an experienced onsite team member

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required
• Venipuncture Certification required
• Valid state driver's license and state licensure as required
• Technical proficiency operating GE 1.5T or other designated vendor scanning equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a high-volume environment
• Demonstrated ability to run advanced MR studies independently and manage customer interactions with a self-directed approach
