Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist - Radiology

Job Details:

• 2 years of radiologic technology experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with strong background
• Work with 2 diagnostic beds and 1 fluoroscopy unit (3rd shift likely won't perform fluoroscopy)
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Serve inpatient, outpatient, ED patients - some pediatrics but mostly adults
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (must obtain Wisconsin license)
• Skills required: chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm, surgical patients, portable experience, limited fluoroscopy
• Float throughout hospital for portable imaging including OR and ED
• Only 1 x-ray tech scheduled after 10 PM
• Work holidays if they fall on scheduled shift
• 2-3 day orientation based on comfort level
• No on-call requirements
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Free parking provided
• Use EPIC EMR system, Pyxis medication dispensing, McKesson PACS system
• Equipment includes Canon portables, GE fluoroscopy, OEC C-arms, Dell diagnostic rooms with Canon plates

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a 60-bed Level 3 Trauma Center that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility offers 24/7 support including respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage, with transport services available from 7 AM to 9 PM. The radiology department utilizes modern equipment and technology systems to deliver quality diagnostic imaging services for a diverse patient population.

Mount Pleasant is conveniently located outside of Kenosha, offering a peaceful small-town atmosphere while maintaining easy access to larger metropolitan areas.
