Warehouse Loader

Overview:

A warehouse loader is responsible for ensuring our products are moved within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner and performing the loading/unloading of route trucks manually or by forklift operation.  

 

Reporting Location: Akron, OH

Compensation : $20/ hour 

Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked

Schedule : Monday – Friday (Saturdays dependent on business needs)

Start Time: 9 am until done

(expect some travel between locations)

Responsibilities:

 

• Ensure warehouse standards are upheld by working in a safe and professional manner  

• Load and unload route delivery trucks and tractor trailers by hand and forklift  

• Palletiz e products for loading  

• Operate warehouse equipment such as Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks etc.  

• Take care of our products through proper handling and storage  

• Ensure inventory is properly maintained  

• Ensure good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld  

• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions  

• M ove our delivery trucks for loading and unloading and perform truck refueling  

• Handle administrative responsibilities as needed (bay mapping, inventory tasks, damaged product counts , and allowing housekeeping entry during their scheduled time) 

Qualifications:

 

• M ust be at least 18 years of age  

• M ust possess a valid Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record (no major driving offenses in the last 3 years) 

• A bility to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. during the work shift  

• W illing to work overtime as needed  

• Warehouse/forklift experience is preferred, but we can train new associates
