Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with an expectation to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in the Neuro Unit, utilizing a team nursing approach. The position involves working with a diverse patient population and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly safety rounds and bedside shift reports with patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and document all healthcare interactions accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of care.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new staff as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (which can be obtained).
