Water/Wastewater Engineer | Rochester, NY Civil and environmental engineering professional with experience designing, managing, and delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Lead project execution, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery. Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, design calculations, specifications, and construction documents. Perform construction administration services, including contractor coordination, submittal reviews, pay application reviews, site meetings, punch list development, and project closeout activities. Communicate technical concepts effectively to clients, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders. Support business development initiatives through proposal preparation, client relationship management, and pursuit of new project opportunities. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline; Experience in water and wastewater system design, analysis, and project delivery. ~ Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) actively pursuing licensure. ~ Proficiency with engineering design software, hydraulic modeling tools, and Autodesk platforms. ~ Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications, including Revit, is advantageous. ~ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and project teams. ~ Adaptable and capable of supporting a variety of project types, technical disciplines, and client needs. ~ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
