Warehouse Operator

Becton Dickinson seeks a warehouse operator for its Madison, Georgia facility to manage inbound materials, operate material handling equipment, and prepare sterilization loads for medical device processing. The position operates Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional assignments to a nearby Covington plant.
Responsibilities
- Unload inbound trucks, verify quantities and catalog numbers, stack onto pallets
- Operate forklift and locate pallets into warehouse racks
- Verify lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates against procedures
- Assemble sterilization loads following defined pallet diagrams and place biological indicators
- Complete inventory system transactions using data collection scanners
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift certification and passing Lift Drivers Test required
- 2-3 years material handling equipment operation experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents and procedures
- Basic English oral and written communication skills
- Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
