We're looking for an exceptional Senior Content Designer to help shape the future of our core platforms, products, and customer experiences. FinTech is one of the most complex and rapidly evolving spaces in technology, and the challenges we're tackling require deep innovation, critical thinking, and scale that don't always have strong precedents. You'll take on a highly influential role shaping vision and execution across key strategic initiatives. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders, contribute to high-impact decisions, guide complex projects from concept to completion, and mentor others on the team. This is a role for someone who leverages modern tools and cutting-edge methodologies as a core part of how they solve problems, and raises the bar for everyone around them. This role is based in our Chicago, IL, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. What you’ll do Architect and govern content strategies and systemic taxonomies for high-frequency digital financial products, including multi-leg options, portfolio margin and advanced trading tools. Define the logic and communication architecture for high-risk, time-sensitive regulatory events, including automated margin liquidations, complex options lifecycle events (assignments/exercises, sellouts), and real-time risk-mitigation protocols. Establish the strategic governance and prompt-design frameworks for AI-native trading assistants and LLM-generated market insights, ensuring machine-generated content adheres to strict financial disclosure standards and algorithmic transparency requirements. Interpret evolving SEC and FINRA regulatory mandates to proactively steer product direction and architect communication strategies that mitigate systemic legal risk. Lead the strategic design and end-to-end evolution for brand-new financial instruments and asset classes from initial concept to global launch. Direct the mentorship and capability building of junior designers, focusing on complex market mechanics, AI-integrated design workflows, and internal content-governance tooling. Define the unified content logic and high-precision accuracy standards for real-time market data visualizations and multi-channel order-entry systems across iOS, Android, and Web platforms. Establish frameworks for using quantitative telemetry (conversion funnels, error rates) and qualitative research to optimize the end-to-end algorithmic content ecosystem, ensuring high- precision accuracy across the Core Trading user journey. Define requirements for internal content management systems and localization workflows to ensure the rapid deployment of high-stakes regulatory alerts and multi-region product launches. What you bring Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Design, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, Journalism, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Education and/or experience must include: Strategic content architecture & systemic governance; High-precision linguistic frameworks for high-stakes transactional interfaces; Advanced derivatives strategies, leverage, and clearing mechanics; High-volatility incident response and automated financial risk-mitigation flows; Proven ability to translate SEC/FINRA mandates into product implication; Governance of AI-integrated systems & prompt engineering for algorithmic insights; Strategic organizational influence & executive stakeholder alignment; Leading zero-to-one product launches within a highly regulated fintech environment; and Designing for high-stakes edge cases in financial trading, including assignment/exercise risk, T+1 settlement logic, and complex order-entry mechanics. In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits. Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to the corresponding compensation zone.
