Lead Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of reliable power and electrical systems for tactical vehicles. The role focuses on power architecture, system reliability, and mission-critical technologies such as communications, lighting, and thermal imaging, while providing technical leadership and hands-on engineering expertise in demanding environments.

Responsibilities:

Lead Electrical and Mechatronic Engineering teams
Design electrical schematics and power distribution systems
Select electrical components for durability and performance
Oversee prototyping and testing of integrated systems
Establish wire harness design and routing standards
Collaborate with production and engineering teams

Requirements:

10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar
Strong knowledge of 12V/24V DC systems
Automotive, aerospace, or heavy equipment experience
Proven leadership and team management experience
