License: N/A
Certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician (CSPDT). Must obtain certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD.

Must-Have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Effective communication skills
- Critical thinking abilities
- Basic computer skills

Description:
The role of the Sterile Processing Technician is to perform the technical duties necessary for the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
This work is conducted according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and central sterile standards.
The technician will serve all patient populations within a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for this role.
Effective communication and critical thinking abilities are required.
Technicians will also complete quarterly competencies.
