Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Choice of 5x8 hour shifts (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM) or 4x10 hour shifts (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM). Call requirement of 6-8 shifts per month (self-scheduled weeknights and weekends on rotating basis). 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Highlights:

• Specialized 30-bed pediatric operating room serving patients from newborns to 17 years of age at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU
• Both scrub and circulate experience required; robotic surgical experience highly preferred
• Major teaching hospital affiliated with the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH)
• Cerner charting system with Accudose and SBAR protocols
• 13-week assignment with flexible time-off requests when balanced with additional weeks to complete full contract
• Free on-site parking provided for travelers

Requirements:

• Active RN license (West Virginia or Compact state); pending WV license accepted for submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
• Pediatric OR experience essential; women's specialty experience strongly preferred
• Both scrub and circulate skills required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• IV start skills preferred
• Permanent address must be minimum 75 miles from facility location
• Two manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years required
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 - March 31) unless medical exemption documented by physician or allergist
