Job Description:

Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated IT Professional to join a highly talented software development company in the Defense industry. You will be an integral team member working directly on-site with technical leadership to maintain security policy compliance, track inventory, and work with our engineers to resolve technical challenges.

In this position you will:

· Install, maintain, configure, and test computer systems on secure networks

· Provide technical support and interact with end-users in-person, by email, or by response to tickets

· Provide Tier 2 and below technical support to end users

· Diagnose hardware issues and recommend solutions to IT leadership

· Generate system documentation and user guides

· Handle the shipping and receiving of hardware

· Monitor and escalate tickets

Minimum qualifications:

· Associate's degree or certification in a relevant technical field

· 2+ years of experience in the IT industry

· Ability to obtain Security+ certificate, a CISSP certification or equivalent Cyber Security certification

· This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. A final U.S. clearance post-start is required

· Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Server (2016 or later), macOS (Sequoia 15 or later) and Windows desktop OS (Windows 10 or later)

· Experience administering Red Hat Linux based systems, to include Linux sub-systems, patching, packaging (RPM), performance tuning, networking, user management, and security

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Task management skills

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 account management tools

· Technical writing and communication skills

· Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements

· Availability for travel

· US Citizenship

Preferred qualifications:

· 4+ years of experience in the software engineering or IT industry

· Experience maintaining and configuring Microsoft Azure environments

· Experience executing DoD STIGs for operating systems (Windows 11, macOS, Windows Server 2016+)

· Experience installing and configuring CMMC compliant environments

· Ability to generate technical documentations and guides for end users

· Knowledge of U.S. government inventory tracking and management best practices

· Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
