Contract Analyst

Pay Rate: $45.00/hr to $50.00/hr

Location: San Jose, CA - 100% onsite

Duration: 12 Months (Chances of getting converted depending on performance)

Client focus is on:

• Facilities, construction, renovation, maintenance services procurement

• Contract review and negotiation

• Managing RFPs and RFQs

• Working with legal teams on contract execution

• Vendor evaluation and selection

• Cost analysis and proposal evaluation

• Stakeholder management with facilities teams and service providers

• Contract review and contract management experience.

• Strong analytical and cost-analysis skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

JOB DUTIES:

• Needs familiarity with the standard distribution suppliers.
• MRP experience preferred.
• Knowledge of a PO system (no specific one required).
• Ensures timely order placement of product or service requirements from pre-selected sources of supply.
• Provides follow-up information on delivery schedule status.
• Prepares and maintains reports and files.
• Provides general assistance to Buyers and Section Managers in routine purchasing activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of in-direct purchasing experience;
• Requires knowledge of purchasing systems and procedures
• Word processing and spreadsheet skills highly desirable
