(USA) Member Specialist

Position Summary Provides member service, maintains the checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds and exchanges, follows company safety standards and procedures, including conducting safety sweeps. Maintains entrance areas by acknowledging members, verifying membership cards and identifying member needs. Assists members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise, promotes company products, zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, assists members with transporting items, and maintains a safe shopping environment. Maintains exit areas, reviews member receipts, secures and safeguards Sam's Club assets, maintains paperwork, logs and other required documentation, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with company security and safety practices. What You'll Do

• Assist with the training of Member Frontline Services associates, teach new technology and tool functionality, deliver new programs rollout training, and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies, properly handle returns, zone the area, arrange merchandise, and identify shrink and damages.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Experience working with mobile retail applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience with self‑service technology. Prior training or teaching experience.
