Surgical Instrument Repair Technician

Job Description
Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, sharpening, refurbishing, alignment, cleaning and repair of surgical instruments. Perform preventative maintenance and extensive repairs to ensure instruments are in proper working condition and meet quality and patient safety standards. Consult with hospital staff regarding instrument conditions and repair needs. Complete repairs efficiently, maintain accurate records and ensure all instruments are properly cared for and returned in a timely manner. Some overnight travel required. Good driving record. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
