Litigation Associate (1-6 Years)

Direct Counsel is partnering with a prestigious AmLaw 10 law firm to identify a Litigation Associate to join its Salt Lake City office . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on complex, high-stakes litigation matters within a nationally recognized litigation practice.

Associates in this role will gain exposure to sophisticated disputes across multiple industries , working closely with experienced litigators on significant cases while developing strong advocacy and litigation management skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of complex litigation , including case strategy and development
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations
• Support discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-profile litigation matters
• Manage deadlines and contribute to the overall litigation strategy

Qualifications

• 1-6 years of litigation experience at a law firm or comparable legal environment
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Admission to the Utah Bar required

Compensation

The anticipated salary range is $225,000 - $390,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and internal compensation structures. The firm also offers a robust benefits package for attorneys and employees.
