Key Responsibilities of the RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• Provide telemetry monitoring with all patients hardwired to bedside monitors
• Deliver care to short-stay patients with quick turnover
• Manage patient ratios of 1:5/1:6 depending on the level of care
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality care in a medical-surgical and step-down setting
• Float to other units as required

Requirements of the RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Telemetry competency
• Progressive Care experience
