Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostics, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues collaboratively or independently (subject to credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness, and ongoing health management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies consistent with your licensure

Educational Prerequisites

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Maryland
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
