Safety is our highest priority.* Learn to lay out and install commercial duct work in a wide variety of job settings.* Unload, move, and handle commercial-scale duct work.* Properly finish and seal duct work.* Work at heights, from ladders, lifts, or roof.* Assist with installing commercial HVAC equipment.* Learn to use a variety of power & hand tools.* Complete class and at-home study with skills and textbook testing.**Experience or Certification needed:*** A High School diploma or GED is required.* Experience using hand tools and tape measure is a plus.**You need to be able to:*** Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.* Be punctual and reliable.* Work as a team.* Do Basic “Tape measure math”.* Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.* Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.* Work efficiently in confined spaces.* Work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.* Exercise fine motor control, with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination.**Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is the region's leader in HVACR, Electrical, and Plumbing services.
