Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Virginia Physical Therapy license prior to the assignment start. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Demonstrated competency with common SNF interventions, including transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and durable medical equipment training preferred. Effective documentation skills using electronic medical records preferred.
