Front of House (FOH) Manager Reports To: Assistant General Manager Position Summary The Front of House (FOH) Manager oversees daily restaurant operations, leads the front‑of‑house team, and ensures an exceptional guest experience. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and support staff while maintaining seamless service and hospitality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversee front‑of‑house operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and a positive team environment. Supervise and motivate FOH staff, reinforcing a fun, professional, hospitality‑driven atmosphere. Ensure food safety and sanitation procedures comply with policy and health regulations. Collaborate with the General Manager to drive sales growth, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Manage food, labor, material costs, and other controllable expenses to meet financial goals. Ensure consistent adherence to cash handling, property security, and product control policies. Monitor inventory levels, oversee ordering, and ensure product availability. Interview, select, and onboard qualified applicants to build a strong team‑oriented culture. Train and develop team members in hospitality, service, and sales to maximize performance and retention. Lead pre‑shift meetings to communicate daily goals, expectations, and service standards. Anticipate and resolve operational challenges, implementing solutions that optimize the guest experience. Collaborate across the team to maintain a stress‑free, engaging work environment. What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years of restaurant industry experience in a managerial role. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team. Guest‑first mindset and commitment to outstanding hospitality. Ability to address and resolve challenges with guests and staff. Capacity to manage multiple priorities and make quick, confident decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation regulations, and restaurant operations. Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods (6–10 hours per shift). Lift and carry trays, food, and equipment up to 30–40 lbs. Navigate a fast‑paced, high‑energy restaurant environment. Engage with staff and guests in a loud, bustling atmosphere while maintaining focus. Perform repetitive motions such as carrying trays, wiping surfaces, and operating POS systems.
