Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support a school district in Corona, CA . This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students in a classroom setting and support their academic, behavioral, and social development.
Position Details:
- Location: Corona, CA
- Student Population: K–12
- Schedule: Full-time 30 hr/wk
- Compensation: $22/hr
- Contract:
- Immediate start for the current school year
- Renewal opportunities for the upcoming school year
Responsibilities:
- Support teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
- Provide one-on-one and small group assistance to students
- Assist students with academic tasks, routines, and transitions
- Support behavioral and social-emotional needs in the classroom
- Help maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- School-based or special education experience is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, reliability, and a passion for supporting student success
- Ability to follow direction and adapt to student needs
