Qualification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrated clerical proficiency, strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to interact with students, staff, and families. Essential Duties Supervises students during recess and lunch periods, ensuring a safe play environment and promoting appropriate behavior. Conducts regular safety inspections of playground equipment and reports maintenance needs to administration. Maintains strict confidentiality of all student information and school‑related matters. Communicates effectively with students, staff, families, and community members through various formats. Uses clear vision, hearing, and speech to monitor large groups of students, identify hazards, and give instructions in outdoor environments. Manages potential exposure to bodily fluids while assisting students with injuries or hygiene needs per district safety protocols. Additional Duties Participates in professional development activities to maintain current skills and knowledge. Performs additional duties as assigned to support school operations. Mental Demands Ability to maintain highly confidential information; communicate clearly both orally and in writing, reason and make appropriate decisions, solve problems in various situations, and perform in a fast‑paced environment. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; occasionally lift, carry, move, push, or pull up to 20 pounds; stand, walk, or run for extended periods on uneven surfaces; work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions including extreme heat, sun, rain, snow, and cold during playground supervision and bus duty. Terms of Employment Employment is at‑will for 9 months, beginning on the specified start date. The work calendar is provided and may be modified as needed. Salary will be disbursed in 24 equal payments per the employee’s choice. Evaluation Performance is evaluated annually according to board policy.
