Lincoln Sudbury Regional School District - Buildings & Grounds Department - Sudbury, Massachusetts Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Lincoln‑Sudbury Regional High School seeks a Groundskeeper Landscaper/Custodian. Responsibilities include grounds work, sports turf maintenance, equipment maintenance and repairs, and minor building maintenance. The role requires custodial focus on building safety and upkeep, with physical endurance to cover a large area, a keen eye for detail, and diligence. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License Successful completion of a criminal record check (CORI) and national background check (fingerprinting) Demonstrated interest working in a school environment Current Massachusetts hoisting licenses or ability to obtain them during employment Ability to perform building security checks, unlocking and locking as needed Identify and correct health and safety issues promptly Perform emergency and routine repairs and preventive maintenance Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment Good verbal and written skills Ability to perform a wide variety of skilled and unskilled tasks using hand or power tools and related equipment Assist other trades with assignments as needed Experience Minimum three (3) years of grounds maintenance experience Work Schedule 8.5 hours per day with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch Weekend Shift: Saturday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm Weekday Shift: Tuesday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm Terms of Employment Full‑time, 12‑month term Wages and benefits per the Support Staff Employee Handbook Salary Range Groundskeeper/Landscaper: $21.82/hour – $28.82/hour Custodian Weekend Shift: $22.92/hour – $29.92/hour Benefits Health, employer‑sponsored Health Savings Account, dental, vision, long‑term disability, life insurance, 403(b), Dependent Care Account, Flexible Spending Accounts, and retirement plan participation.
