Job Description
Prepare ingredients and assemble packaged food in a restaurant kitchen supporting high-volume batch production. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Food Service Supervisor, the Food Preparer will follow recipes, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and help ensure consistent, timely, high-quality orders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for restaurant kitchen production.
- Portion food accurately according to established standards.
- Follow recipes and maintain recipe compliance.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Assemble packaged food and customer orders accurately.
- Maintain kitchen sanitation and proper food storage procedures.
- Inspect food quality and monitor inventory levels.
- Reduce waste through effective preparation and resource use.
Required Qualifications
- Food preparation experience and knowledge.
- Knife skills.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to maintain portion control and follow recipes.
- Kitchen equipment operation skills.
- Strong time management and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in food preparation.
