Mental Health TherapistThe UW-Stevens Point Counseling Center is seeking a Part-Time Mental Health therapist to provide short-term counseling, assessment and crises intervention to students experiencing personal, emotional, behavioral, academic or mental health concerns. This position is under the direct supervision of the Director of Counseling Center.Compensation: Mental Health Therapist part-time (15-20 hours per week) hourly/non-exempt, university staff position. Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting hourly of $50 an hour, commensurate with the candidate's education, related experience, and qualifications.Required Qualifications:Master's degree in counseling, Clinical Social Work, or Marriage and Family therapyCurrent Wisconsin State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT. Clinical supervision may be available for individuals working towards licensure.Ability to communicate clearly and effectivelyPreferred Qualifications:Experience in higher education mental health settingExperience working with young adultsExperience providing clinical care using teletherapy modalitiesExperience using electronic health records (EHR) systemsTo ensure consideration: Applications received by 9/9/2026 are ensured full consideration.
