LTAC/Telemetry Registered NurseThe LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds responsibility for providing care to patients. This care is delivered by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is required in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is essential. The nurse will delegate patient care priorities according to the education and experience of the available staff. Direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care is expected.
