Detailed Job Description: As the Technical Lead – AI / Data Engineering at Fourways Consulting in Dallas, TX, you will hold comprehensive architectural and technical delivery accountability across our enterprise AI and modern data platform practices. Working closely with enterprise architects, product managers, data scientists, cloud infrastructure leads, and C‑level executive stakeholders, you will translate complex business mandates into robust, scalable, and secure AI‑driven software architectures. Your expansive scope of engineering leadership encompasses architecting big data processing backbones using Python, SQL, AWS cloud infrastructure, and Databricks lakehouse platforms, while pioneering enterprise adoption of Generative AI, Large Language Models, and Agentic AI workflows. You will design, build, and optimize enterprise‑grade Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks utilizing AWS Bedrock, foundation models, semantic caches, and high‑performance Vector Databases (such as Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, or OpenSearch). Additionally, you will champion disciplined engineering rigor by establishing automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning with Terraform, governing robust CI/CD release pipelines, and instituting strict model evaluation, guardrails, and data security benchmarks. This role demands deep technical mastery, proven architectural governance, outstanding stakeholder management capabilities, and inspirational engineering mentorship. Key Responsibilities: Provide end‑to‑end technical leadership, architectural oversight, and engineering governance across enterprise AI, GenAI, and big data platform initiatives. Architect, deploy, and optimize production‑grade Generative AI, Large Language Model (LLM), and autonomous Agentic AI solutions. Design and implement high‑performance Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, semantic retrieval engines, and vector search indexing using Vector DBs. Build, orchestrate, and optimize distributed data engineering pipelines and analytics lakehouses utilizing Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, and SQL. Lead the integration of generative AI foundation models and managed AI services utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS Bedrock. Automate, manage, and govern cloud infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) provisioning using Terraform across multi‑tier AWS hosting environments. Establish, streamline, and enforce modern CI/CD deployment pipelines, automated testing suites, and MLOps/LLMOps operational best practices.
