You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that align with company goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and systemsAnalyze existing processes and identify areas for improvementDevelop and implement cost reduction initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production processesMonitor and analyze production data to identify and address any issuesConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsParticipate in new product development projects and provide input on design for manufacturabilityTrain and mentor production staff on new processes and proceduresStay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologyContinuously look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the manufacturing processQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing EngineeringMinimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and systemsExperience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesProficient in CAD software and other engineering toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong project management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsLocation: Ann Arbor, MI
