Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire)

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork abilities which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with benefits.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire) Location: Evansville, IN Pay Range: $31.30 plus Sign-On Bonus of $2500 Shift: 3rd Shift (10pm-630am) Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating and executing maintenance activities to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient facility.
Perform repairs on plant equipment, install new machinery, and conduct building maintenance as directed.
Lead and assist fellow team members in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Operate hand tools, power tools, welders, and cutting equipment to maintain and modify equipment.
Ensure safety protocols are followed by all employees, contractors, and visitors, promoting a culture of safety and quality.

What's Needed?

Two-year degree in Industrial Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and control systems experience.
Proficiency with mechanical repairs, welding, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent problem-solving skills.
