Job Description
Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Schedule

Straight Days 7A-7:30P, Every Other Weekend and Holiday coverage required.

Assignment Details

Minimum 1 year experience in Emergency Department; previous travel experience preferred.

Requirements

• Current RN license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' physical and emotional health.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient responses to care and adjust plans as necessary.
• Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on the severity of illness or injury.
• Assist in resuscitation, stabilization, and advanced life support procedures during emergencies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and communicate status and care plans clearly.
