Vice President of Marketing (Jersey City)

XMONDO Hair is looking for a highly strategic, analytical, and growth-focused VP of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing organization.

This role will oversee all marketing functions, including paid media, influencer marketing, partnerships, social media, email/SMS, product launches, and growth initiatives. The VP of Marketing will act as the primary marketing leader within the organization, responsible for identifying opportunities, driving performance, building systems, and leading a high-performing team.

We are looking for someone who can connect marketing activities to business outcomes, uncover growth opportunities, improve accountability, and help scale XMONDO into its next phase of growth.

This person will serve as a key partner to the CEO and leadership team while owning the day-to-day execution and strategic direction of marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall marketing strategy across all channels
• Manage and develop the marketing team, including channel leads and managers
• Own marketing performance, reporting, and accountability across the organization
• Analyze marketing initiatives and identify growth opportunities, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and executive-level reporting
• Oversee paid media, influencer marketing, partnerships, email/SMS, social media, product launches, and brand campaigns
• Collaborate closely with agencies, consultants, freelancers, and external partners
• Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans aligned with company goals
• Improve cross-functional communication, project management, and execution across marketing initiatives
• Evaluate marketing investments and recommend budget allocation across channels
• Identify emerging trends, partnership opportunities, and new customer acquisition channels
• Partner closely with leadership to drive revenue growth and improve marketing efficiency
• Recruit, mentor, and build a world-class marketing team

Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or brand leadership roles
• Proven experience managing multi-channel marketing programs for a consumer brand
• Strong understanding of paid media, influencer marketing, retention marketing, partnerships, and e-commerce growth
• Experience leading and developing marketing teams
• Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into action
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, founder-led environment
• Experience managing agencies and external partners
• Beauty, personal care, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer products experience strongly preferred

• Establishes clear reporting systems and performance visibility across all marketing initiatives
• Identifies key growth opportunities and areas of inefficiency

• Becomes a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team
