Pharmacy Technician

We're hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, 13 week contract with an established mail order specialty pharmacy in the Nashville area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced pharmacy technicians looking for steady weekday hours, competitive weekly pay, and the potential to transition into a permanent role with a Fortune 500 company!
Responsibilities:- Process prescriptions in a high volume mail order pharmacy environment
- Assist with medication dispensing and prescription fulfillment
- Verify shipping information and patient demographics
- Enter and update patient profiles within the pharmacy management system
- Provide customer service support for pharmacy patients
- Work efficiently in a fast paced environment filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily
- Utilize the WellSky pharmacy system
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration
- Pharmacy technician experience in a retail, mail order, specialty, or similar pharmacy setting
- Experience with pharmacy software systems (WellSky experience is a plus)
- Strong data entry and customer service skills
- PTCB certification required for candidates seeking permanent employment
- Ability to start ASAP
