Position: IT Help Desk Agent
Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Duration: Contract

Job Overview:
We are seeking an IT Help Desk Agent to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves providing technical support to end-users, ensuring smooth IT operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The position offers a hybrid work model with some in-office presence required for certain shifts, while off-hours shifts are fully remote. The contract is initially for 12 months, with the potential to extend up to 24 months based on business needs and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or chat.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Document and track issues using ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of IT problems.
• Participate in a 3-week mandatory training program to gain proficiency in the role.
• Adhere to assigned shifts and maintain reliability and performance standards.
• Ensure a strong and stable internet connection for remote work, using an Ethernet cable.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an IT help desk or technical support role is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely as required.
• Willingness to commute to the Portsmouth office for in-office shifts if living within 50 miles.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including off-hours and weekends.

Pay Range: $20/hour on W2
