Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing standards. Educates patients and families on managing illness or injury, including post‑treatment home care and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and family. Proactively plans and ensures communication of care plans across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assesses patient preferences, barriers to involvement, and cultural, spiritual, and population‑specific needs. Maintains constant state of alertness to ensure safety; responsible for a safety‑sensitive position. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
