Mechanic

East Coast Drilling & Blasting, Inc.

Job Description

The Mechanic will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing commercial trucks and heavy equipment. Working within a small team, the mechanic will utilize standard automotive tools and heavy machinery to ensure vehicles operate at optimal performance. This position demands strong mechanical skills and offers opportunities to apply technical knowledge in a hands-on environment focused on heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities

Diagnose vehicle issues accurately and efficiently
Perform repair work on commercial trucks and heavy equipment
Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns
Replace parts as necessary to maintain vehicle functionality

Required Qualifications

Proven mechanical skills

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years experience in automotive repair
Technical certificate in automotive technology
