Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures in our state-of-the-art catheterization lab.
Job Details
- Approved FTE: 1.0
- Rotation Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Information: 4 ten-hour shifts with a call rotation every 4-5 weekends; weekday night calls may apply.
- Day Shift Hours: Start times stagger from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM.
Responsibilities
The Cardiac Catheterization RN will be responsible for:
- Assessing patient needs and planning care accordingly.
- Administering medications and monitoring patients during procedures.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards during catheterization procedures.
Qualifications
- Current Nursing License (Nursys verification required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Experience in a cardiology or intensive care setting is preferred.
