- Operate within collective bargaining agreements; coordinate with union officials and resolve grievances.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Build and balance production schedules; assign crews to meet demand.
- Diagnose inefficiencies through data and operating reports; prevent delays and reduce costs.
- Advance EHS, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Implement and sustain ABS and 6S; conduct safety/6S audits regularly.
- Coordinate product flow across departments; protect inventory accuracy.
- Be the go-to resource for policy and initiative clarity.
- Respond rapidly to emergencies; troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare/interpret operational documents and production reports.
- Continuously refine procedures for compliance, safety, and efficiency.
- Introduce new methods that improve operations, reduce cost, and optimize labor/material usage.
- Partner with management, engineering, and quality on maintenance and production challenges; drive process upgrades.
- Contribute to budgeting and goal-setting cycles.
- Handle additional assignments that support business objectives.
- Anticipation: Proactively prepare people and processes; influence planning.
- Reliability: Model safety, share goals/metrics, and honor the bargaining unit contract.
- Optimizer: Remove waste, boost throughput, improve quality, and align resources to outcomes.
- Facilitator: Communicate clear instructions and connect stakeholders across levels.
- Responsiveness: Adjust labor and plans to meet changing conditions.
- Influence: Delegate effectively, explain decisions, advocate for the business, and manage change.
- Organization & structure: Plan the day, coordinate resources, deliver on time, and craft contingencies.
- Observation: Track performance and workflows; protect schedule integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction; act on findings.
- Ownership: Be accountable for team and business results and inspire the same mindset.
- Base pay: $72,000 – $88,000 annually
- Annual performance bonus: Linked to strategic KPIs and operational goals
- Additional shift premium: $350 per additional shift worked
- Holiday premium: $700 for working designated holidays
- Expected schedule: Required to work one weekend per month

Basic
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience
Preferred
- Manufacturing supervisory experience
- Background with TPM, Synchronous Manufacturing, and Kaizen
- Excellent communication and team-building across all levels
- Comfort juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technical environment
- Change agent with the energy to promote and implement improvements
- PC proficiency, including documentation management
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement
- Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
