Research Assistant

Job Overview Full‑time, day shift position located in the Research Building, 3811 W 13 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, Michigan. Department: Sponsored Programs Radiation Oncology – Royal Oak Hosp. Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (40 hours per week). Scope of Work Under the supervision of the Chief of MRI Rad Imaging Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology, the candidate will be responsible for data entry and maintaining a research database. Analyze MR imaging (MRI) data, consent and schedule patients for research MRI studies. Retrieve clinical data from electronic medical records. Handle IRB regulatory issues. Support manuscript and grant development and submission. Other research activities as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications One’s Bachelor's degree in a science and/or engineering field. Knowledge in statistics preferred. At least one year of relevant research experience.
