Required Skills: Active New Mexico medical license and NM DEA certification Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency Proven experience in orthopedic surgical procedures, including those listed in the practice description Excellent clinical judgment and patient management skills Ability to work independently and remotely, with 24-hour on-call availability Nice to Have Skills: Experience with hospital privileging and payor credentialing processes Familiarity with the Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) enrollment requirements in NM Prior experience in light caseload settings with light volume volume Strong communication and teamwork skills that facilitate seamless patient care Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Completed orthopedic surgery residency program At least 1-3 years of post-residency clinical practice in orthopedics Other Requirements: Willingness to undergo hospital privileging and payor credentialing (processing time approximately 90 days) Ability to submit case logs from the past 24 months promptly upon request Availability for work during flexible shift times, primarily from 7 am to 7 pm, with an expectation of 24-hour beeper call coverage (onsite not required) Enrollment in the Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) required by New Mexico law; agency will provide coverage Embark on a rewarding orthopedic surgery assignment that offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team dedicated to your success.
