INDUSTRIAL QUALITY INSPECTOR

Fry Reglet is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to serve as a key advocate for product quality in our architectural metal manufacturing facility. You will inspect incoming raw materials, in-process fabrications, and outgoing products to guarantee strict adherence to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection: Review drawings and blueprints to inspect materials for visual quality, dimensions, correct specifications, and quantity. Assemble mock-ups as needed to test fit and functionality.

• Documentation & Tagging: Mark compliant items as "QC Accepted" and non-conforming items as "QC Rejected." Log results on drawings, maintain quality records, and report findings to the HSQE Supervisor.

• Process & Program Support: Apply product decals and stage material neatly. Champion our Quality at the Source program by encouraging shop-floor team members to perform self-checks.

• Tool Care: Maintain and track calibration for all precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of QC inspection experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting.

• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specs.

• Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

• Uncompromising attention to detail, communication skills, and high reliability.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

The Quality Inspector checks the quality of all incoming manufactured, and outgoing material and products. This position will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail and should be reliable and committed. Ensuring our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:  Gathers drawings and applicable technical specifications  Reviews and understand the specs  Inspects all materials for compliance with the specifications o Correct material for application o Visual o Dimensional o Quantity o Mock-up (as required for proof of functionality and accuracy)  Documents inspection results on drawings (for accounting and reference)  Maintains inspection records  Identifies satisfactory material with “QC Accepted” and non-conforming material with “QC Rejected”  Recognizes QA policies, procedures, and directives for development and compliance while providing feedback and follow up to ensure proper corrective action is achieved.  decals  Reports results to HSQE supervisor o Acceptance o Discrepancies o Rejects  Stages material in an orderly manner  Focuses on continual growth of our Quality at the Source program, ensuring that the program is effective, and that all Team Members perform their own quality checks as well as collecting quality data.  Maintains Quality Reporting.  Maintains inspection tools and calibrated instruments
